At Palm Beach Chess we put a focus on learning life skills through a rigorous academic chess curriculum taught by experienced instructors. We have a philosophy about the learning process, work ethic, and passion required to become the best version of yourself.

Individual Lessons
Our commitment to excellence is in our attention to detail with our students. Not only do we provide tailored chess instruction to every individual, we make ourselves available during competition to keep students at peak psychological form. This is not only for Florida Chess players in person but available to anyone via our online chess instructional lessons.
We feel strongly about Instructor - Student bond, we as instructors do not use a one size fits all approach and students are actively involved in the planning process for their growth. On our end, lessons are a collaboration among instructors to ensure the most efficient development possible for all of our students.

We have a range of instructors ready to meet student needs. In conjunction with the questions above, we go through a process to find out which instructor from our staff will be the best fit.
Our lessons range from $50/1hr to $150/1hr based on the instructor's credentials.

FAQ
Will you come to our home for lessons? Palm Beach Chess instructors schedule lessons in a public location for safety and transparency for both staff and students (online lessons are always an option). Our staff are to make no exceptions to this rule.
My child is 4-6 years old, do you have an instructor available? We have a large volume of requests from parents for instructors and almost always it is a request for in-person lessons. We very rarely take on new students in this age range who are not already competing in US Chess events. We offer group programs at the COX Science Center and Aquarium for first time players. Keep an eye on our upcoming events calendar and social media for the registration page for these programs.
